5 Vegan Smoothies with Plant Protein Power

As vegans, at times it can be a challenge to get enough protein. 1. Almond-Banana-Chocoholic:

Sounds delicious, right? All you need is a frozen banana, 1 tablespoon of almond (or other nut) butter, 1-1.5 cups of your favorite milk substitute (any kind will do, coconut milk adds a nice flavor), and 1-2 scoops of chocolate Plant Protein Power. Feel free to replace the milk with water, if desired.

2. Strawberry-Banana-Rama:

You guessed it, this recipe requires 1 frozen banana, 1/2 cup strawberries, plus 1-1.5 cups of your favorite milk substitute, and 1-2 scoops of vanilla Plant Protein Power. You can replace the strawberries with any fresh or frozen berry to create your own tasty tropical smoothie.

3. The Blue Popeye:

For this healthy recipe you’ll need 1/2 cup blueberries, a large handful of spinach, 1-1.5 cups of your favorite milk substitute (or water), as well as 1-2 scoops of vanilla Plant Protein Power. Sure, spinach isn’t your typical smoothie ingredient, but it adds a ton of iron and doesn’t affect the flavor at all.

4. The Thanksgiving Treat:

Good all year round, and tastes like pumpkin pie! You’ll want the following for this smoothie:

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup your favorite milk substitute, almond or coconut works best
  • 1-2 scoops of Vanilla Plant Protein Power
  • ½ tsp each vanilla extract and cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp each nutmeg and cloves
  • Pinch each of ginger and salt
  • Ice as needed

5. The Green Goblin:

Puree 1/2 avocado, 1 banana, 1-1.5 cups of water (or your favorite milk substitute) and 1-2 scoops of chocolate Plant Protein Power to create this smoothie which is not only yummy, but also full of natural, healthy fats. Don’t worry about the avocado, it lends a nice smooth flavor and will fill you up!
