Beyoncé and Marco Borges Raise Awareness of Benefits of Plant-Based Diet
In a video recently posted on Beyoncé’s website, Beyoncé along with our Founder Marco Borges raise awareness of the tremendous benefits of a plant-based diet. The video, now seen by thousands of people around the world, has started an open and honest discussion on why trying a plant-based diet may be the answer you’ve been looking for when it comes to getting healthy, boosting energy and losing weight. Tired of Being Tired
In the video, Marco says that many people come to him for help and that they are “tired of being tired” and tired of treating symptoms but never treating the underlying cause. Instead, they are given medications to help with symptoms of disorders like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes but never given direction on how to change their lifestyle to drastically improve their health. Marco has seen dramatic improvement in the health of his clients and friends who have switched to a plant-based diet or even just tried a plant-based diet for 22 days. He says, “It’s not about having to go all in with a plant-based diet. It’s about allowing people to define plant-based living in a way that works for them.”
“I Felt So Incredible”
When Beyoncé challenged herself to a plant-based diet for 22 days, she said that she “felt so incredible.” She noted that the weight came off fast and the weight stayed off; something that she mentions was not easy in the past. In addition, she noticed that her skin was really firm and a lot tighter – an added benefit of healthy plant-based diet.
