1 cup of frozen pineapple
1 avocado
1 scoop of 22 Days Nutrition Strawberry Plant Power protein powder
1 tbsp Maca powder
1 cup of Califa Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Directions:
Blend ingredients together until smooth then garnish with coconut shreds, pomegranate, strawberries, and activated gluten free granola.
6 Benefits:
Strawberries
Strawberries naturally aid in weight loss. They are fat free, low sugar, and a very low carb fruit. Packed with vitamins and nutrients they are powerful anti-inflammatory berries, rich in antioxidants that boost metabolism and increase fat burning. Strawberries are extremely high in vitamin C which is vital in producing the skin protein collagen, aka reducing wrinkles!
Pineapples
Pineapples, like most fruits, are high in fiber and aid in digestion supporting a flat belly. This nutrient dense fruit is loaded with Vitamin C, calcium, potassium, and B vitamins. Pineapples hold about 75% of our recommended daily intake of manganese, promoting bone strength and bromelain reduces inflammation.
Avocados
Contrary to common belief, avocados are excellent for a weight loss diet. They may be high in fats but they are the healthy, necessary fats we need in our diet to burn body fat. Avocados contain oleic acid, this activates a part of the brain that makes you feel full longer. They are high in fiber, low in carbs, and very low in sugars unlike most fruit. Avocados also contain more potassium than bananas.
Protein
22 Days Nutrition Plant Power protein powder is blend of organic pea protein, organic sachi inchi and organic milled flax seed to give you 20 grams of plant-based protein in every serving. It's 100% USDA Organic, gluten-free and soy-free. Protein keeps you fuller longer, curves your bad cravings, and forces you to burn more calories in the digestion process. Protein is great after exercising as it promotes bone strength, growth, and helps repair the muscles.
Maca
Maca is a natural antioxidant booster which strengthens your immune system and helps fight disease. It helps balance your hormones, reduce depression, and increase stamina. Its a better alternative to caffeine, giving you the high energy without the jitters.
Almonds
Almonds are known as brain foods. They contain nutrients like riboflavin and L-carnitine that support healthy neurological activity. They also are made up of good fats and are high in fibre which keeps you fuller longer, so you overeat and over-snack less.
So there you have - quite possibly the most perfect summer time breakfast or snack. Good for your body and delicious too. Enjoy!
